This mod adds a death timer to your client so you can see when your items are about to despawn. It also gives you an arrow and distance to the deathpoint.

The mod also offers timers with sounds when they end, 'objective' points (like the death timer). Those timers can be added through commands. The latest new addition is the ability to make a stopwatch. (both personal and server wide).

Due to the way the timers work (they time on client and server and sync up at configurable intervals) they are lag sensitive. (The lower the TPS, the slower the timer will go.)

Maximum time for a timer is 2,147,483,647 Seconds or 68.0511 Years. (68 Years, 2 weeks, 4 Days, 15 Hours, 56 Minutes, 240 Milliseconds.)

This mod is not needed on the client. Users without the mod can use commands to get the list of all running timers.

Download the latest build from our jenkins server.

You also need our Core Nucleum-Omnium. Nucleum-Omnium goes in core mods, Death-Timer in mods.

Examples:

2013-06-08 23-44-09

2013-06-08 23-48-48

(I know the arrow is small. If you know a better way of making an 8 directional arrow on 1 line in MC, please let us know!)

Even displays properly in F3 mode! 2013-06-08 23-55-47

The Death TimerEdit

This is the timer that fires when you die and starts counting down your 5 minutes. It plays a sound when the 5 minutes are up. The counter stops if the chunck unloads to allow a way more accurate time reading.

You can cancel this timer, even if you're not OP, with the command "/timer stop".

The commandsEdit

An OP can change all timers on the server and push new ones to clients. All of the commands can be used with commandblocks.Edit

/timerEdit

Use the ingame autocomplete feature and help ("/timer help") to see the latest in syntax changes, but there is the general idea:

/timer help
/timer [list] (<default option if you use /timer)
/timer add <name> <time> [X] [Y] [Z] [dim]
/timer stop <name>
/timer sound <name> [volume] [pitch]
/timer point <name> [X] [Y] [Z] [dim]

/stopwatchEdit

Use the ingame autocomplete feature and help ("/stopwatch help") to see the latest in syntax changes, but there is the general idea:

/stopwatch help
/stopwatch [list] (<default option if you use /stopwatch)
/stopwatch add <name>
/stopwatch stop <name>
/stopwatch pause <name>
